Welcome to the Sample Scents website. Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order. By using our website and purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
1. About Us
This website is operated by Sample Scents Ltd. When we refer to “we”, “us”, or “our”, we mean Sample Scents Ltd.
All content on this website, including images, text, logos, and design, is the property of Sample Scents Ltd and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or reuse any part of this website without our prior written permission.
2. Your Order
By placing an order on our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and our Returns Policy.
All prices displayed include VAT where applicable and are shown in GBP.
3. Product Information
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images and prices are accurate and up to date.
Please note that colours and finishes may appear slightly different on screen compared to real life due to display settings.
Our products are supplied as fragrance samples decanted from genuine full-size retail bottles into unbranded atomisers. Original manufacturer bottles and branded packaging are not included.
Sample Scents is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any fragrance brand or manufacturer. All trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the fragrance being sampled.
4. Order Acceptance
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Product availability issues
- Payment authorisation failure
- Pricing or product description errors
- Technical or system errors
- Failure to pass security or validation checks
When you place an order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This does not constitute acceptance of the order.
Your order is only accepted once it has been dispatched.
5. Delivery
Available delivery options and costs are displayed at checkout.
Delivery times are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors outside of our control, including courier delays and peak periods.
For Tracked 24 services, please note that orders placed on Fridays, weekends, or public holidays may not be dispatched until the next working day.
6. Cancelling an Order
Once an order has been placed, it enters processing quickly and we may be unable to cancel it before dispatch.
However, this does not affect your statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details.
7. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your order arrives faulty, leaking, or damaged, please contact us within 14 days of delivery and provide clear photographs of the issue where possible. This allows us to resolve the matter promptly and, if necessary, raise a claim with the courier.
8. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits or business opportunity, arising from the use of our products or website.
9. Your Responsibility
By using our website, you agree not to misuse the site or its content and not to attempt unauthorised access to our systems.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sample Scents Ltd and its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages or costs arising from your breach of these Terms.
10. Legal Information
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time, so please review them periodically.
